These are just a few scary facts on Cancer incidences, these are also some of the reasons the team at Total IT came together to take park in an exciting challenge to support Cancer Research UK – An amazing charity that work into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Cancer Research has helped to save millions of lives and over the past 40 years survival has doubled with all the amazing progress they have made. What was the challenge? Throughout the whole of March Total IT decided we wanted to raise money for this charity by individually doing 10,000 steps per day for 31 days. In rain, wind and sun, the progress of the team was checked every week and we are proud to have successfully completed such a challenging fundraiser. Thanks to some very generous donations and amazing support, we have managed to raise over double the amount of money that we set out to and what better challenge to do during the lockdown period too? Not only did the team raise money for this incredible charity, but we also got our daily exercise in during this uncertain period.
